The Design Engineer will be expected to both design and do calculations and limited analysis (Thermal, stress etc.). The successful candidate will be given the responsibility of work packages, to design and do the required analysis to ensure the part meets the specification. The person will be working within project teams and will be expected to build up expertise in the company products. There is a variety of products being developed and also the integration of the standard products into customer specific applications...

| Qualifications: |
The candidate is to have a good Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HNC or experience which is equivalent. |
| Skills: |
A good knowledge of Creo Parametric (Pro-Engineer Wildfire) would be preferred however other 3D modelling packages will be considered. Experience of using the Pro-Mechanica analysis software would also be advantageous. |
| Experience: |
Designing items including associated calculations and analysis.
Having worked on low volume series production capital equipment for industrial, military, automotive or aerospace would be advantageous. |
